The Municipality of Greenstone continues to advance its Waste Management Environmental Assessment (EA) to identify a long-term waste management solution for the region. This provincially regulated process evaluates potential environmental impacts and includes engineering studies, public consultation, and Indigenous consultation.
Residents are advised that blasting operations will begin today and are expected to continue for approximately one week. Up to three blasts per day are anticipated. Motorists should expect additional traffic delays and temporary two-way lane closures during blast operations.
