All Municipal Offices and Facilities will be closed on Tuesday November 11 in recognition of Remembrance Day. Garbage collection that normally occurs on Tuesday has been rescheduled to Monday November 10.

Proposals are now being electronically accepted for the Geraldton Main Street Road Reconstruction by EXP Services Inc.

In observance of Remembrance Day on Tuesday November 11th, residential garbage collection will occur one day earlier than the regular schedule, on Monday November 10th.

The Council of the Municipality of Greenstone will hold a Statutory Public Meeting on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 1800 Main Street, Geraldton, to consider a Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34(12) of the Planning Act.

The amendment proposes to rezone 203 First Street West, Geraldton, from Commercial (C1) to Light Industrial (M1) to allow the development of a transport truck terminal on the site of a former retail building.

UPDATE Sunday, October 19 - The Longlac Sportsplex will open Monday, October 20, 2025. Regular ice schedules for both the Geraldton Community Centre and the Longlac Sportsplex will take effect on Monday.
