2026 Municipal Election
Municipal elections are held every four years on the fourth Monday in October to elect the Mayor and Council of the Municipality of Greenstone. The current term of office ends on November 14, 2026.
Voting Day is October 26, 2026
The following candidates are running in the 2026 Election.
Candidates are listed alphabetically.
One (1) to be elected at large.
One (1) to be elected by the Rural East Ward Electors
Two (2) to be elected from the Geraldton Ward Electors
Two (2) to be elected by the Longlac Ward Electors
One (1) to be elected by the Beardmore Ward Electors
One (1) to be elected by the Nakina Ward Electors
One (1) to be elected from the Rural West Ward Electors.
Notice has been given to the Municipal Electors of the Municipality of Greenstone that during the period commencing on May 1, 2026 and completing on Nomination Day, August 21, 2026, the following persons filed all necessary papers, declarations and fees. The Clerk is satisfied that such persons are qualified and that their Nomination satisfies the requirements of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.
