The Community Clean-Up Challenge has ended. In the Friends/Family/Individual category, the winners are Lori Belzile and Mikekayla Ashamock; Bre & Dax Dawd and Shy & Blair Nolan; and Luka & Kristi Wesley and Kristi Kasprick. In the School category, the winning entry is Miss Pietsch's Grade 4-5 class from B.A. Parker Public School.

Temporary traffic lights are now in place within the construction zone to safely manage one-lane traffic through active work areas. As construction progresses, the traffic lights will be relocated as needed to follow the active work zone. Please pay close attention to all signage, barriers, and traffic control devices, as traffic patterns will change throughout the project. The temporary traffic lights are currently set with an approx. 3min cycle time. Drivers exiting driveways or side streets located between the traffic lights should wait for traffic moving in their desired direction, merge safely when possible, and never drive against the flow of traffic.

A reminder to all property owners and occupants to keep grass and vegetation properly maintained throughout the growing season. Under the Clean Yards By-law, grass must generally be kept at 20 cm (8 inches) or less, and vegetation must not obstruct sidewalks, roads, sightlines, or utilities. Failure to comply may result in enforcement action.
