Temporary traffic lights are now in place within the construction zone to safely manage one-lane traffic through active work areas. As construction progresses, the traffic lights will be relocated as needed to follow the active work zone. The temporary traffic lights are currently set with an approx. 3min cycle time. Drivers exiting driveways or side streets located between the traffic lights should wait for traffic moving in their desired direction, merge safely when possible, and never drive against the flow of traffic.
Crews will be digging test holes and excavation areas at specific locations along Main Street as part of upcoming construction activities. Please travel with caution and be aware of all posted signage, traffic control devices, and safety barriers in the work zone.
