In recognition of Remembrance Day on Wednesday, November 11th, residential garbage collection has been rescheduled to Monday, November 9th (two days earlier than the regular schedule).
UPDATE - OCWA has confirmed that a water shutoff will occur today, Wednesday, October 14 for Queen Ave. and King Ave and is expected to last for up to 3 hours. AN additional shutoff will occur tomorrow which will affect Edith Ave. and homes South of the Town Bridge.
A break in the waterline at the corner of Main Street and John Avenue in the Geraldton Ward has been detected. Emergency locates have been requested and crews will be making repairs once locates are received. Water service to John Avenue has been shut off while crews await locates and perform repairs.
