All Municipal offices and facilities will be closed on Mon Sept 7th due to the Labour Day holiday. Garbage collection normally scheduled for Monday has been rescheduled to Tuesday.

We sincerely apologize for the temporary closure of the SALC - Longlac from September 2-11, 2026. We are pleased to share that recruitment has been successfully completed, and this closure reflects a brief transition period before the new staff member begins. Please be advised that the Greenstone Seniors Active Living Centre in Geraldton will be closed on Mon Aug 31 & Tues Sept 1/26.

As part of the ongoing Hamel Avenue infrastructure project, the Municipality of Greenstone would like to advise businesses in the affected area of a planned water shut-off on Thursday morning, August 27, 2026.

The Nakina Ward Office will be closed for the remainder of day today - Monday, August 24, 2026.

Please be advised that the Greenstone Seniors Active Living Centre in Geraldton will be closed on Tues Aug 18th.

A temporary water service interruption is required on King Street in the Geraldton Ward to complete work associated with the ongoing Geraldton Main Street Rehabilitation Project. The interruption is scheduled to begin between 7:30-8:00 a.m. on Wed Aug 5th and is expected to last approximately 2 to 3 hours.
