Municipal Closures - Canada Day

All Municipal offices, facilities and landfills will be closed on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in recognition of the Canada Day statutory holiday.

Garbage collection normally scheduled for Wednesday has been rescheduled to two days earlier than the regular schedule, on Monday, June 29, 2026.

We thank you for your understanding. Municipal Council and Staff wish all residents a safe and enjoyable holiday!

As we mark this national holiday, we also recognize that Canada Day may be difficult and/or offensive for some Indigenous Peoples. We acknowledge the importance of reflecting on where we have been, where we are today, and where we are headed as we continue our journey toward truth and reconciliation.
