The Municipality has received multiple reports of bear activity in residential areas. While we understand residents may be tempted to feed wildlife, feeding bears is dangerous. Reporting bear activity to Bear Wise (1-866-514-2327) is the best way to inform MNRF of the amount of sightings in the Region.

The Snow Windrow Removal Program in effect for the 2025-2026 winter season provides support based on financial need. Eligible residents must submit applications annually by October 1st.
A reminder to all community groups and event organizers that applications for grants, staffing support, and municipal resources (including facilities) must be submitted for approval before your event takes place. Applications received after an event cannot be considered.
UPDATE SEPTEMBER 15, 2025 - The tax sale previously advertised by the Municipality for September 24, 2025 has been cancelled. The sale will be re-advertised at a later date.
