All municipal offices, facilities and landfills will be closed on Monday October 13 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Garbage collection has been rescheduled to Tuesday October 14.

New municipal surplus items have been posted on Govdeals. 

Canada Post strike may delay mail, but payment deadlines remain unchanged: Tax bills are due September 29 and water bills are due October 15. Please pay at the office, online, or through your bank to avoid late charges.

September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The Every Child Matters flag will be raised September 29 and municipal facilities will be closed on September 30th. Tuesday garbage collection will be moved to Monday September 29.

Council of the Municipality of Greenstone has proclaimed and commits to recognizing September 30th of each year as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation by sharing stories of residential school survivors, their families, and communities. 

The Municipality of Greenstone will join communities across Ontario in recognizing Franco-Ontarian Day by raising the Franco-Ontarian flag.

A reminder to residents that By-Law 09-48 provides for the collection of tree branches, leaves, grass cuttings, and yard trimmings year-round. Residents are asked to either bundle branches and trimmings or place yard waste in proper containers for curbside collection.
