The Municipality of Greenstone was pleased to take part in a groundbreaking ceremony celebrating the upcoming upgrades to Anaconda Road and Painter Lake Road, marking the next phase of the Corridor to Prosperity initiative.

The Nakina Ward Office will be closed for the remainder of day today - Monday, August 24, 2026.

Please be advised that the Greenstone Seniors Active Living Centre in Geraldton will be closed on Tues Aug 18th.

The closure of the Beardmore Ward Office is no longer necessary during the week of August 10–14, 2026. The office will remain open all week.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Nakina Ward Office has been closed early on Monday, August 10, 2026. If assistance is required, please contact the Greenstone Administration Office at 807-854-1100.

The Municipality of Greenstone is pleased to announce that the Seniors Active Living Centre (SALC) - Longlac will reopen on Tuesday, August 4, with regular programming resuming at the Centre. To assist with the transition, the scheduled bus trip to Geraldton will still operate on Tuesday, August 4 for participants wishing to attend Carpet Bowling. Following this date, transportation to Geraldton will no longer be provided, as programming will once again be available at the SALC - Longlac.

All Municipal offices and facilities will be closed on Mon Aug 3rd due to the Civic Holiday. Garbage collection normally scheduled for Monday has been rescheduled to Tuesday.
