Soccer Wind-Ups 2026
The Municipality of Greenstone was pleased to host the year-end Youth Soccer Wind-Up celebrations in the communities of Geraldton on Monday, September 21st and Longlac on Tuesday, September 22nd. The wind-up events, held at each community's Legion, brought players and their families together for a pizza supper and medal presentations recognizing all participants in attendance. Participants who were unable to attend can pick up their medals at their local ward office.
This year's season ran for six weeks, from early August through September, and welcomed a total of 61 youth participants, including 23 in Geraldton and 38 in Longlac.
A sincere thank you goes out to our incredible volunteer coaches who dedicated their time and energy to making this season possible! Their commitment and enthusiasm helped create a fun and rewarding experience for our local youth! The Municipality is grateful for their continued support of recreation programming in our communities.
