To help reduce the number of lost, stray, or at-large animals, all owners are strongly encouraged to follow responsible pet ownership guidelines.

Boil Water Advisory - Beardmore Ward

Due to a mechanical disruption caused by the current hydro outage, a boil water advisory is in effect for the community of Beardmore until further notice.
Residents are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or washing food.

Hydrant Flushing - June 9-20, 2025

The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will be conducting spring maintenance by flushing hydrants and exercising valves across the Municipality of Greenstone from Monday, June 9 to Friday, June 20.
This will include the Wards of Beardmore, Geraldton, Nakina, and Longlac.
Residents may notice discoloured water during this time and are advised to run their taps until the water clears.

Clean Yards - Derelict Vehicles

By-laws are local rules made by the Municipality of Greenstone to address community-specific issues like zoning, noise, property maintenance, and animal control. They must be followed by all residents and property owners.
Council enacted the Clean Yards By-Law on January 15, 2024. The Clean Yards By-Law 24-04 outlines the general standards for all properties which includes restrictions of derelict vehicles.
