The Municipality of Greenstone's Longlac Ward Office will be closed on the below listed dates and times:
Friday March 25th: Closed 8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
If assistance is required on the above noted date and times, please contact the Geraldton Administration Office at 807-854-1100.

This notice is to advise that the Municipality of Greenstone had 3 by-pass events that concluded on April 14 and April 15 in the Longlac Ward. These events were due to heavy flows caused by quick thawing of snow and ice.
These events posed no harm to residents and this notice is for public information only.

Municipal Closures - Easter Statutory Holidays

Please be advised that all Municipal Offices and Landfills will be closed on Friday April 18, 2025 and Monday April 21, 2025 due to Easter statutory holidays.
Garbage collection that normally occurs on Friday and Monday have been rescheduled, please view the Garbage Collection Calendar for revised dates.

Spring Clean Up - Expanded Curbside Collection

Get ready for the annual Spring Clean-Up, as outlined in By-law 25-20. This program provides curbside collection of household bulky waste.
Important Guidelines:- Sort materials into the following groups:
Yard waste, tires, electronics, metals/appliances, furniture, and household items.
Mixed materials will not be collected. Property owners will be responsible for their disposal under Clean Yards By-law 24-04 - Hazardous items (e.g., paint, propane) are not accepted.
