The Municipality of Greenstone would like to advise residents that construction will soon begin at the Geraldton Community Centre. During this period, access to certain areas of the facility will be limited over the coming months.

The Greenstone Seniors Active Living Centre – Longlac will be closed on Thursday, February 19 and Friday, February 20 due to unforeseen circumstances.

Repairs have been completed at the Longlac Sportsplex following the earlier ammonia leak. The affected area has been fully addressed, ammonia levels have been cleared, and the facility has been deemed safe for occupancy.

The Application Period is now open for the Esnagami Memorial Bursary. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 15, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Applications are being welcomed for the Municipality of Greenstone Scholarship Award Program. The deadline to apply is May 15, 2026, 4:00 p.m.

This dog is no longer in the care of the Municipality. 

The Municipality of Greenstone has a male dog in care that was found in the Geraldton Ward. Please call 807-854-1100 to claim. The dog will be kept in care with the Municipality for up to 72 hours. 

The Boil Water Advisory for Beardmore has been lifted. Thank you for your cooperation.

All dog owners within the enforcement area are reminded that dog tags must be purchased on or before March 15, 2026.
