🚧Geraldton Main Street Rehabilitation Project Update🚧

Temporary traffic lights are now in place within the construction zone to safely manage one-lane traffic through active work areas.

As construction progresses along Main Street, the traffic lights will be relocated as needed to follow the active work zone. Please pay close attention to all signage, barriers, and traffic control devices, as traffic patterns will change throughout the project.

The temporary traffic lights are currently set with an approximate 3-minute cycle time. Motorists are asked to remain patient and obey all traffic signals.

If you are exiting a driveway or side street located between the traffic lights:

• Wait until traffic is moving in the direction you wish to travel.
• Safely merge with the flow of traffic.
• If there is no traffic moving in either direction, wait until a traffic flow has been established before entering the roadway.
• Do not travel against the flow of traffic within the construction zone.

Please reduce your speed, stay alert, and watch for construction workers, equipment, pedestrians, and changing road conditions.
