🚧Geraldton Main Street Rehabilitation Project Update🚧

Residents may notice a drilling rig operating within the construction area over the coming days.

The drilling equipment is being used to install well points, which are part of the temporary dewatering system required for underground infrastructure work. The well points help lower the groundwater level, creating safer and drier conditions for the installation of water, sewer, and storm infrastructure.

This work is an important step in preparing the construction area before excavation and pipe installation begins.

Please use caution when travelling near the work area, follow all signage and traffic control measures, and stay clear of construction equipment.
