Back to SearchThe Municipality of Greenstone is proposing updates to its Water and Wastewater Billing and Collection Policy and is seeking public feedback.
Key Proposed Changes:
- Monthly Billing: Moving from quarterly to monthly water and wastewater billing
- Non-Payment Process: Water shut-offs will no longer be used for non-payment
- Unpaid accounts will be transferred to property tax bills
- Landlord/Tenant Accounts: The policy will be updated to make property owners (landlords) fully responsible for water and wastewater charges at rental properties
