The Community Clean-up Challenge has begun! The Municipal-wide community clean-up challenge provides all the tools to assist in clean-up efforts including gloves, garbage bags, pickers, and a safety sheet. Please visit your local ward office to sign out the tools/supplies you require. Please note that we have a limited amount of pickers per Ward Office and request that they are returned within 72 hours so others may use them.
Join in and volunteer to assist in removing litter from neighbourhood streets, parks, and playgrounds! The Community Clean-Up Challenge will run until June 18, 2025. Maximum crew size is 5 people. Fill in the registration form and submit a photo of your clean-up crew or the clean up site in order to be entered into the Community Clean-Up Challenge! However residents may still participate in the clean-up initiative and not enter into the draw if they wish. Winners will be drawn randomly from all completed submissions and will be announced on June 19, 2025. Prizes will be drawn for the following categories:
- Family/Friend Group
- Business/Organization
- Schools
- Individual
Residents may enter in the challenge more than once if multiple clean-ups are done!
