Due to an extreme weather event, the Municipality of Greenstone has experienced an untreated sewage bypass into LONG LAKE which may adversely affect the shoreline of the community of Longlac, Ginoogaming First Nation and Long Lake First Nation.  Also, the Municipality of Greenstone has experienced another bypass of untreated sewage into HARD ROCK CREEK which may adversely affect the shoreline of Kenogamisis Lake. Signs have been posted at beach locations that may be affected and will be removed once the bypass has ended and sampling results show the beach areas safe for public use.
