UPDATE Sunday, October 19 - The Longlac Sportsplex will open Monday, October 20, 2025. Regular ice schedules for both the Geraldton Community Centre and the Longlac Sportsplex will take effect on Monday.

All municipal offices, facilities and landfills will be closed on Monday October 13 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Garbage collection has been rescheduled to Tuesday October 14.

Canada Post strike may delay mail, but payment deadlines remain unchanged: Tax bills are due September 29 and water bills are due October 15. Please pay at the office, online, or through your bank to avoid late charges.

September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The Every Child Matters flag will be raised September 29 and municipal facilities will be closed on September 30th. Tuesday garbage collection will be moved to Monday September 29.
