Respect our wildlife

Our forests are happy to welcome respectful visitors. When out in nature please remember to:

  • Pick up after yourself and leave no garbage behind
  • Keep a safe distance from all animals
  • Practice ethical wildlife photography – No feeding or baiting animals
  • Do not chase after animal – They are wild, and this causes them unnecessary stress
  • Follow all fire ban or fire restrictions – Always make sure you put out your fire
  • If you see wildlife on the road, slow down and stay in your vehicle
