Province Unveils Proposed Route for Northern Shield Energy Corridor

The Municipality of Greenstone acknowledges the announcement from the Office of the Premier of Ontario regarding the unveiling of the proposed route for Northern Shield Energy Corridor. 

Ontario Premier Ford and Alberta Premier Smith unveiled the proposed route for the Northern Shield Energy Corridor which is proposed to pass through the Greenstone region. The corridor will include a new crude oil pipeline from Hardisty, Alberta traveling east to Sarnia, Ontario which will strengthen energy security, create jobs and open new markets to Canadian energy.
