Purpose of Meeting:
The Municipality of Greenstone has received an application for a Minor Variance to facilitate the construction of a Yurt, which meets the definition of a “guest cabin” in the Municipality of Greenstone Zoning By-Law 23-77, at 22 Rintas Road. The Owners require the Authority of the Committee of Adjustment for minor variances from Zoning By-Law 23-77 as follows:
To permit an increased total lot coverage of 9.49% for accessory uses, buildings or structures, whereas the By-Law requires a maximum total lot coverage of 2% for accessory uses, buildings or structures in the Waterfront Residential (RW) Zone.
The subject property is the parcel legally described as PLAN M132 LOT 38 PCL 1328 TBF Wild Goose Lake, Lindsay Township, located at 22 Rintas Road, in the Municipality of Greenstone, Ontario.
The subject property is zoned Waterfront Residential (RW) in the Municipality of Greenstone Zoning By-Law 23-77.
The Committee of Adjustment will consider the requested Minor Variance application (File No.: MV-2026-003) under Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13.
Committee of Adjustment Meeting Date: Monday, July 20, 2026, 2:15 p.m.
Meeting Location: Greenstone Municipal Administration Office in Council Chambers, 1800 Main Street in the Geraldton Ward at 2:15 p.m.
