Notice of Additional Nominations

TAKE NOTICE that the number of candidates for:

• Office of English Language Public Trustee, Superior Greenstone District School Board (All Wards); and
• Office of English Language Separate Trustee, Superior North Catholic District School Board (Rural West, Geraldton, Beardmore and Nakina Wards)

were not sufficient to fill the number of vacancies to which candidates may be elected.

AND TAKE NOTICE that the Clerk may receive and certify additional nominations for these vacancies between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

Offices for which persons may be nominated:

• One (1) English Language Public Trustee to be elected by the supporters in the Rural West, Geraldton, Longlac, Beardmore, Nakina, and Rural East Wards.
• One (1) English Language Separate Trustee to be elected by the supporters in the Rural West, Geraldton, Beardmore and Nakina Wards.

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that the manner in which nominations shall be filed is set forth in Section 33 of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996. Nomination packages are available from the Deputy Clerk / Deputy Returning Officer at johanna.berube@greenstone.ca or the Greenstone Administration Office.
