Greenstone Seniors Active Living Centre – Longlac Update

Following the recent announcement regarding the temporary closure of the Greenstone Seniors Active Living Centre (SALC) - Longlac, the Municipality is pleased to advise that SALC programming continues for Longlac residents.

To ensure participants can continue enjoying programs and staying connected, the Municipality is offering the following programs throughout the month of August:

🖥️ Virtual Programs

Mondays - 11:00 a.m. | Asian Walking🚶
Fridays - 11:00 a.m. | Chair Exercises🪑

👥 In-Person Programs in Geraldton

Free transportation from Longlac is provided.

Tuesdays - 1:00 p.m. | Carpet Bowling🎳
🚌Bus departs the SALC - Longlac at 12:30 p.m. and departs Geraldton at 3:00 p.m.
Fridays - 12:30 p.m. | Bingo🎱
🚌Bus departs the SALC - Longlac at 11:45 a.m. and departs Geraldton at 2:00 p.m.

Virtual and in-person programming in Geraldton will continue to be offered while the Municipality recruits a new SALC Coordinator for the Longlac Centre. Be sure to watch for the monthly SALC newsletters to stay up to date on upcoming activities and schedules!
