SALC - Longlac Temporary Closure & Programming Update
The Greenstone Seniors Active Living Centre (SALC) - Longlac will be temporarily closed September 2–11, 2026.
The Municipality is pleased to share that recruitment for the SALC - Longlac has been successfully completed. There will be a short transition period before the new staff member begins, resulting in the temporary closure. Regular programming at the Longlac Centre is expected to resume following this period.
To ensure participants can continue enjoying programs and staying connected during the closure, the Municipality is offering the following in-person programs in Geraldton:

- Friday, September 4 – 12:30 p.m. | Bingo 🎱
🚌 Bus departs the SALC - Longlac at 11:45 a.m. and departs Geraldton at 2:00 p.m. - Thursday, September 10 – 1:00 p.m. | Carpet Bowling 🎳
🚌 Bus departs the SALC - Longlac at 12:30 p.m. and departs Geraldton at 3:00 p.m. - Friday, September 11 – 12:30 p.m. | Bingo 🎱
🚌 Bus departs the SALC - Longlac at 11:45 a.m. and departs Geraldton at 2:00 p.m.
Free transportation from Longlac is provided.
