Dog in Care - April 16, 2026

The Municipality of Greenstone has a dog in care that was found running at large in the Geraldton Ward. Please call 807-854-1100 to claim. The dog will be kept in care with the Municipality for up to 72 hours. 

A reminder of the following Violation Fees:

Violation - not purchasing dog tag $75.00
Violation - dog running at large, first violation $61.82 
Violation - dog running at large, second violation $185.47 
Violation - dog running at large, third and subsequent violation $309.12

A reminder that dog tags are mandatory are assist in the safe return of your animal if they are found at large.
