Community Clean-Up Challenge♻️🌎

The Community Clean-Up Challenge is back! Join your neighbours, classmates, friends, and family in helping keep our community clean, safe, and beautiful.

📆Challenge Dates: May 15 - June 10, 2026

Participants will be provided with everything needed for a successful clean-up, including gloves, garbage bags, litter pickers, and a safety information sheet. Supplies can be signed out at your local ward office.

👥How to Participate:

• Participate individually or form a group of up to 5 people
• Schools participate by classroom
• Complete the online registration form
• Clean up litter in neighbourhood streets, parks, playgrounds, or other public spaces
• Take a photo of your clean-up effort to enter the challenge

Challenge your friends, classmates, or neighbours to join in and help make a difference!

♻️Disposal Guidelines:

• Tie and leave collected garbage bags in a visible, safe location – preferably curbside
• If required, additional garbage pick-up can be requested by providing the bag(s) location by calling 807-854-1100
• Do not handle hazardous materials (e.g., needles, sharp objects, or chemicals) - report these to the Municipality

📸Entry Details:

• A photo submission is required to be entered into the prize draw
• Participation without entering the draw is welcome
• Multiple entries are allowed if you complete more than one clean-up

🏆Categories & Prizes:

• Friends, Family & Individuals: Special prize package
• Schools (per classroom): Classroom lunch celebration

🎉Winners Announced: June 11, 2026

Winners will be selected through a random draw from all completed submissions.
