Capital Project Update - Longlac Fire Station Renovations

Renovations to the Longlac Fire Station are slated to begin shortly. This capital project is for work to the front of the building to accommodate modern size and configuration fire apparatus to utilize the building space to it's potential. Fire apparatus and equipment have been relocated to the public works depot for the duration of the construction. There is no impact to the delivery of fire services to the community during this work.

The new fire truck PUMP 5 assigned to Longlac Station has been put into service today and is ready to respond to emergency calls in our communities! This truck was part of a multi-unit purchase that allowed significant upgrades to the capability and reliability of the overall fire fleet, while allowing for standardization and long-term financial planning for fire response vehicles.
