Yard Waste Collection Reminder

The Municipality would like to remind residents that By-law 09-48 provides for the collection of tree branches, leaves, grass cuttings, and yard trimmings year-round.

According to the by-law, residents are asked to either bundle branches and trimmings or place yard waste in proper containers for curbside collection.

Use of Kraft Paper Yard Waste Bags

Kraft paper yard waste bags are also accepted. These sturdy, compostable bags may be placed directly at the curb, but must contain only the specified yard waste (tree branches, leaves, grass cuttings, and yard trimmings).
