Remembrance Day – Flags Lowering

The Municipality of Greenstone will recognize Remembrance Day by lowering flags to half mast at all municipal buildings and facilities.

The flags will be lowered on Monday, November 10, 2025, in accordance with the Municipality of Greenstone’s Flag Policy. This policy provides guidance on the display of flags at municipal facilities to ensure recognition is given in a respectful, consistent, and inclusive manner.

These flags lowering is in recognition of Remembrance Day on November 11, where Canadians stand in collective Remembrance of all who have fallen in the military service of their country.
