Notice of Intention to Consider a Procedure By-Law

TAKE NOTICE that the Council The Corporation of the Municipality of Greenstone intends to consider a new By-Law to govern the proceedings of Council (Procedure By-Law) in accordance with Section 238 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended.

The proposed By-Law will replace Procedure By-Law 19-36 and will incorporate many of the recommendations proposed through Report ADMIN 001-26 subject to amendments directed by Council at the Meeting - Watch the recording.  The Meeting at which the By-Law is expected to be presented will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026 at the Greenstone Administration Office, Council Chambers, 1800 Main Street, Geraldton, ON. The Agenda for the Meeting will be released on Thursday, April 9th, 2026.

Notice is being provided in accordance with the Notice By-Law as the matter affects residents of the Municipality of Greenstone.
