Municipal Closures - Remembrance Day

Tuesday, November 11, is Remembrance Day in Canada. Saturday, November 8, also marks Indigenous Veterans Day in Canada, honouring the important contributions made by First Nations, Inuit and Métis veterans in service to our country.  

Remembrance Day Services are being held at the following locations: 

• Beardmore - Community Centre, 100 Main Street 
• Geraldton - Geraldton Legion Branch #133, 522 Main Street
• Longlac - Longlac Legion Branch #213, 117 Dieppe Road
• Nakina - Nakina Legion Branch #116, 106 Railway Ave

All Municipal Offices, Daycares, Seniors Centres, Landfills and Community Centres (Beardmore open for Remembrance Day Service only) will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, and all programming has been cancelled in recognition of Remembrance Day. 

Garbage collection that normally occurs on Tuesday has been rescheduled to Monday, November 10.
