Franco-Ontarian Day – Flag Raising

The Municipality of Greenstone will join communities across Ontario in recognizing Franco-Ontarian Day by raising the Franco-Ontarian flag.

The flag will be raised at the Municipal Administration Office on Monday, September 22, 2025, in accordance with the Municipality of Greenstone’s Flag Policy. This policy provides guidance on the display of flags at municipal facilities to ensure recognition is given in a respectful, consistent, and inclusive manner.

This flag raising is in recognition of Franco-Ontarian Day on September 25, which honours the history, culture, and contributions of Franco-Ontarians to our community and province.
