🚧Geraldton Main Street Rehabilitation Project Update🚧

As part of the Main Street Rehabilitation Project, John Avenue is currently closed at its west end. This closure is in addition to the existing west-end closures of Edith Avenue, Queen Avenue, and King Avenue.

Backfilling is scheduled to begin tomorrow, and current plans are to reduce the length of the active work area by the end of next week.

Drivers travelling through the construction zone are reminded to proceed carefully, reduce their speed, and follow all temporary traffic lights, posted signs, and directions from traffic-control personnel. Please allow extra travel time, maintain a safe distance from workers and equipment, and remain alert for changing road conditions.
