Dog In Care - July 27, 2026

The Municipality of Greenstone has an intact male dog in care that was found in the Geraldton Ward. Please call 807-854-1100 to claim. The dog will be kept in care with the Municipality for up to 72 hours.

Updated Violation Fees:

• Fail to register dog/fail to affix licence tag to dog - $100.00
• Dog (altered) running at large - $150.00
• Dog (unaltered) running at large - $200.00
• Allow a dog to attack/bite a person/pet - $400.00

A reminder that dog tags are mandatory and assist in the safe return of your animal if they are found at large.
