Curbside Recycling is Coming to Greenstone!
A new residential curbside recycling service is coming to Greenstone this fall as part of Ontario’s enhanced recycling system, managed by Circular Materials.
➡️ When will I receive my recycling bins?
New recycling bins will begin being delivered to Greenstone households on October 17, 2026. Residents are encouraged to watch for their bin delivery and information provided with the bins.
➡️ When does curbside recycling begin?
Curbside recycling collection in Greenstone will begin November 23, 2026.
➡️ What can I recycle?
The new service will allow residents to recycle a range of accepted materials from home, including:
- Paper and fibres
- Plastic containers and packaging
- Glass containers
- Metal packaging
- And other accepted recyclable materials
Additional information regarding accepted materials, collection schedules, bin placement, and how to prepare your recycling will be provided as the start of collection approaches.
