Property Assessments

Property owners within the Municipality of Greenstone will receive a direct notice from the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) when your property's value has been assessed.

MPAC determines the value of all Ontario properties using the Assessment Act. To better understand how your property is assessed visit MPAC.

Assessment cycle

MPAC will assess the value of your property every four years.

How it impacts your property tax

The assessment value determined by MPAC will impact the property tax levied on each property.

You should review your property assessment details when you receive them to make sure the assessment is accurate.
