Bill Payments

Payments may be completed through Paymentus. This secure, third-party online payment provider accepts Visa or Mastercard for a convenience fee.

Guidelines:

• There is a processing fee of 2.5% for credit card transactions. 
• The maximum payment is $5,000 per transaction. Multiple payments can be made as separate transactions towards your account.
• Please allow up to two business days for processing. 
• You will receive an email confirmation of payment for online payments or a confirmation number by phone.
• You will need your 11 digit roll number to make a payment.

In order to avoid late penalties, we must receive payment by the payment due date. Please consider delivery timelines when mailing to avoid late submissions.

Payment can be made with:

• Royal Bank of Canada (RBC)
• Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC)
• Scotiabank
• Bank of Montreal (BMO)
• Caisse Populaire/Desjardins
• Tangerine Bank
• Meridian Credit Union

To set up online or telephone banking, you will need your account or roll number found on your bill. Please note that during setup, a fifteen digit number is required.

When signing up with Desjardins and BMO, the roll number on your bill is sufficient. For all other banks, leave off the "5876" and add four zeros "0000" to the end of your roll number. 

If you need help with payment setup, please contact the Municipal Administration Office. Please be sure to give your bank enough time for processing online.

You can automatically make payments by using your bank account with the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan.

Please complete a Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Agreement for the appropriate department (taxes, water and sewer, or accounts receivable) and return it to any Ward Office or email it to:

• the Tax Department,
• the Water and Sewer Department, or
• the Accounts Receivable Department (daycare, lot rentals, facility rentals, etc.)

You can make payments through your My Online Account. Under the eServices tab, select Property Tax or Utility Billing. Then select the Pay Online tab and enter your payment amount. Please note that there is a processing fee of 1.5% for debit card transactions and 2.5% for credit card transactions.
