Purpose of Meeting:
The Municipality of Greenstone has received an application for a Minor Variance that would allow the construction of an attached deck and screened three-season porch/sunroom as an addition to the existing cottage building at 22 Peter Drive. The Owners require the Authority of the Committee of Adjustment for minor variances from Zoning By-Law 23-77 as follows:
a) To permit a reduced front yard setback of 23.47 metres (77 feet), whereas the By-Law requires a minimum front yard setback (waterfront) of 30 metres; and
b) To permit a reduced setback of 24.38 metres (80 feet) from the highwater mark, whereas the By-Law requires a minimum setback from the highwater mark of 30 metres.
The subject property is the parcel at 22 Peter Drive, consisting of PIN 62423-0549 and PIN 62423-0068, in the Municipality of Greenstone, Ontario.
The subject property is zoned Waterfront Residential (RW) in the Municipality of Greenstone Zoning By-Law 23-77.
The Committee of Adjustment will consider the requested Minor Variance application (File No.: MV-2026-001) under Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O.1990, c.P.13.

Any person may make oral representation in support or in opposition to the proposed application in-person at the meeting, or may make written representation in support of or in opposition to the proposed application in advance. Please file your written comments no later than 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 for inclusion on the Public Agenda.
