Geraldton Canada Day Parade

Line Up: Geraldton Catholic Church, Third Street North 10:15 am - 10:30 am Start Time:11:00 am Anyone wanting to register to enter a float please contact Tanner Bell at tanner.bell@td.com or (807) 276-6086 *Disassembly will take place in the Community Centre parking lot Please be cautious of children potentially running into parade route. We ask that you do NOT throw candy from your float. Any persons who are riding on floats or walking are asked to remain on float or on their side of the road and do NOT cross in front of or behind floats.

Geraldton Canada Day Fireworks

Fireworks will be celebrated at the Geraldton Waterfront area, shortly after Dusk.

Father’s Day BBQ, Yard Sale, Craft & Vendor Fair

Our Lady of Fatima will be hosting a Father's Day Sale. This is a school organized event, which will feature craft and vendor booths, a yard sale, a BBQ, canteen, draws and various kids activities. This is a fundraiser for the grade 7/8 travel group. If you would like to become a vendor, please contact Randi Miron ASAP. Any donations would be greatly appreciated for our community yard sale.

The O'Pears & The Barrel Boys

Geraldton Concert Series presents The O'Pears & The Barrel Boys. The O'Pears, a contemporary folk trio from Toronto, will team up with a 5 piece string band, known as The Barrel Boys, known for their bluegrass and country style. Where: Geraldton High School When: April 5 at 8pm Series tickets available at Nicole's Variety and the Geraldton Dental Office.

Girls Night Out - Breast Cancer Fundraiser

The Nakina Girls will be hosting this year's event on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at the Nakina Curling Club. This is a LADIES ONLY event that will consist of penny auctions, draw prizes and a dance. **AGE OF MAJORITY REQUIRED** This year's theme will be "Slumber Party". You can wear your favorite pajamas, bring a stuffed animal, and relate to the ladies who are fighting their fight! We hope you will make this year's event as much a success as last year! Ticket locations and bus information will soon follow.

Beardmore Community Christmas Pot Luck Supper

This annual potluck supper is open to all residents of Beardmore, Jellicoe and Macdiarmid. For more information for what to bring contact Nikki Goodman at 853-2311.

Skate with Santa - Longlac

A family skate with Santa and other surprise guests. Door prizes, free hot chocolate and hot dogs are available to all who attend.

Nakina Christmas Parade of Lights

The parade starts and ends at the Nakina Community Centre. Free hot chocolate and hot dogs for everyone, and there will be fireworks to finish off the evening.
