This non-profit organization was formed in 1996 to promote the area.  On the third weekend of July each year, we host an annual Lake Nipigon Trout Hunt.  For this event, our typical participant rate is 70 boats and 190 entries.  The event runs from noon Friday till 2pm Sunday.  Prizes include cash ($5,000, $2,500, and $1,000) for biggest fish and merchandise prizes alloted by luck of the draw.  The entry fee is $60 per person. All persons in boats must be entered.

President and founder Jim McMahon died in 2006.

The 2007 event will be dedicated to the memory of Jim McMahon and will be held on July 13-15.
