Our executive still has some vacancies and we are looking for volunteers to assist in running the club this year. We know everyone’s time is limited, but the more people who are involved in the club, the less work there is to do for each individual. No experience is necessary; the current executive will help any new executive member learn their position. So, if you feel like helping the curling club, and having some fun at the same time, volunteer your services for one of the vacant positions. Contact any of the executive members if you are interested.

 
Leagues:

This year the club is planning on trying some new things, as well as expanding on the things that worked well from last year. There will be the usual Mens and Ladies Leagues, and the ever-popular Juniors and Seniors programs again this year. Our prices are the lowest of any clubs in the region! Contact the representatives listed above for more details.

The Mens League for this year is only scheduled for Thursday evenings. However, if there is interest in another night or an afternoon league, this can be arranged. For more information, contact Dean Beaudry.

 

Currently the Ladies League is scheduled for Wednesday evenings. However, if this evening is not convenient for some, then please let the executive know what night is good. Also, if ladies membership is low, there is the opportunity to have a two-on-two league: 2 players, 6 rocks, 6 ends, minimal sweeping, only 1 hour of play!

 

If there is sufficient interest, the Mixed League will return again, with more fun-filled Saturday nights scheduled every second weekend. If not, then the club is planning on running a series of mini-spiels every month with a different theme each month.
