Located on Highway 580 just East of the Community of Beardmore, this municipal park offers visitors a wealth of recreational opportunities including swimming, hiking, boating and fishing, as well as some of the most stunning scenery the Greenstone region has to offer.
Just 5 kilometers from the Park is High Hill Harbour, a docking and service station for commercial and pleasure crafts including fueling and pump out facilities.
Take a short drive West from the park to the
Pijitawabik Palisades. These 1.2 billion year-old sheer-cut cliffs feature an interpretive hiking trail and some of the best rock and ice climbing opportunities in the world
The Park also hosts the Annual Trout Hunt held the third weekend in July. For more information please contact the Beardmore Fish and Game Club.

When arriving in the Park…
- Present yourself to the Park Attendant for directions and registration for a campsite
- Please note that the Park is closed to all-day visitors from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am.
- Campsites are available on a first come, first served basis. ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVATIONS CAN BE MADE AT ANY TIME.
- Park attendants will do their best to accommodate everyone coming in, however campers may have to take a basic site until such time as a serviced station becomes available.
During Your Stay….
- Removal and/or defacement and damage to any tables, benches, fireplaces, markers and signs is strictly prohibited as well as to any bridge, building structure, natural objects, and all other park property.
- All refuse including cans, bottles, metal containers, waste and garbage will be deposited only in garbage containers provided. Littering is prohibited.
- Fire is only permitted in the fireplaces provided on all campsites and picnic areas.
- Visitors will refrain from using abusive, insulting, and/or profane language and will not disturb other visitors
- Motorized vehicles are NOT permitted on the Park beach or picnic areas.
- Large appliances not pertaining to or forming a part of the standard equipment of an RV are not permitted anywhere on the campsite.
- Do not store gasoline or fuel on any campsite. Trucks with fuel storage capacity for refueling shall not be permitted on campsites.
- Boats and/or trailers are only permitted to park in the designated areas provided, not at a campsite.
- No more than six persons or one single family group (parents & children) are permitted to lodge at a campsite. Three pieces of shelter or one self contained unit is permitted.
- Only two vehicles per campsite. All other vehicles must park in visitor parking area.
- Alcoholic beverages are not permitted off a registered campsite.
- All campers/RVs, trailers, boats, and/or other equipment is NOT allowed into the Park before the official opening day or allowed to be left past the official closing day. Transgressors shall find their property removed without notice at their expense.
- FIREWOOD is available for $3.00 per bundle at the Park Office during operating hours.
- Please keep radios and stereo systems audible only to your own campsite. Excessive noise must cease by 11:00 pm.
CAMPERS WHO DO NOT CHOOSE TO FOLLOW CAMPGROUND RULES AND REGULATIONS MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PARK
Please Remember……
- Pets are welcome in the park but must be kept on a leash at all times. Visitors will NOT allow pets to run at large
- Your children are your responsibility. The beach area is NOT supervised or patrolled and the roadway is very busy as it is the main entrance to both the park and cottage area.
- Please respect the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the campground at all times.
When leaving the Park…..
- Please leave your campsite clean and use the garbage containers provided at all times. Your cooperation will help to protect the Park’s natural beauty and prevent bears from entering the campground area.
