Located north of Nakina, this park protects 9,930 hectares of northern boreal forest on either side of the Little Current River. There are no visitor facilities, but backcountry camping and canoeing is permitted.
Containing shoreline elements associated with glacial Lake Barlow-Ojibway, Little Current River Provincial Park, classified as a waterway park by the province of Ontario, offers the experienced canoeist 176 kilometres (110 miles) of high quality recreation and historical travel.
