Communication Disorders Assistant
George Jeffrey Children's Centre is currently seeking a CDA to join our Rural Services Program on a permanent full-time basis, working 10-months/yr. from September - June. Working under the supervision of an experienced speech-language pathologist, responsibilities include creating/revising communication boards; providing training to children, youth and their parents; preparation and maintenance of program materials and resources; implementation of direct intervention goals, individually and in groups; and maintaining progress notes. All candidates must have a Communicative Disorders Assistant Degree or Diploma and be registered with or eligible for registration with CDAAC. Must hold a valid driver's licence and have access to a personal vehicle. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Municipality of Greenstone.
