Municipal By-Laws are local rules and regulations set out by Council under the authority of the Municipal Act.

All Regulatory By-Laws enacted by the Council of the Municipality of Greenstone are available for viewing at the Office of the Municipal Clerk.  Please contact the Clerk at 807-854-1100 for more information.

The Director of Protective & Planning Services enforces all regulatory by-laws such as noise, property standards, parking, zoning, signs, outdoor burning, among others.

Inspections are conducted on a complaint basis or in response to a health and safety concern. Should you wish to file a complaint regarding a violation of a municipal by-law, the following information is required; details or nature of the violation, location and property owner if known. You must provide your name and address when filing a complaint.
