Healthy Living in Greenstone

The Municipality of Greenstone strives to be a healthy community that nurtures its members and takes care of its citizens. Our goal as a community is to strengthen the social, environmental and economic well-being so that everyone can benefit.

Even with the Greenstone Region being in Northern Ontario and away from the large city centres, there are numerous health related services available to the residents.  There are four medical clinics, two dental offices, a hospital, ambulance services and a 911 emergency telephone service.  The Greenstone Region also has many different support groups and organizations assisting those who require help. 

Promoting a healthy life style in Greenstone is not difficult.  There are plenty of active community groups to be part of or you could just stop and look around.  Where else can you find an environment like the one Greenstone has?  Blue skies, clear waters, untouched wilderness, and friendly people.... what more could you ask for?
