Geraldton Kinsmen Concert Series
2008-2009 

This is a series of concerts that provide our audience the opportunity to see live professional family entertainment over the winter months. At 44 consecutive years, it is the longest continually running series in Northern Ontario (and possibly all of Ontario). Series tickets are sold as a package and family rates are available. All concerts take place at the Geraldton High School Auditorium.

The Magic of Ireland Sunday September 14 The Magic of Ireland offers one of the most authentic Irish cultural experiences of any production anywhere. The Sensational Hot Rods  Saturday October 18 Great music from the 50’s era sung with perfect six piece doowop harmonies and fantastic dance moves is what The Sensational Hot Rods are know for. John McDermott Friday November 14 “Legend” is not a title John McDermott would readily embrace, but his accomplishments have become legendary in the recording industry. Since his first album’s “Danny Boy” tremendous success, he has now recorded nine albums, has 3 Canadian platinum records, five Juno nominations, and a solid international touring schedule. The Long and Winding Road                        staring Jim Witter Tuesday March 3 Jim Witter returns to Geraldton with a new show that features the music of the Beatles. His last show here called “The Piano Men” received rave reviews as one of our best performances.
