Greenstone's Attractions

Enjoying the fresh air and sunny skies?  Why not pack a lunch, grab the camera and come explore some of the attractions that the Greenstone Region has to offer.  Better yet, why not stay a while so you can really see what there is in Greenstone.

You could head east to view the spectacular High Falls and along the way, stop and learn about the community of Longlac.  Or, if you are up for a great hike, head for the Pijitawabik Palisades, which are south of Beardmore.  The panoramic views from the top of these cliffs are a must see.  Also, the rushing waterfalls flowing off these cliffs are quite a sight on their own.

What to do if it is raining you ask?  Why not visit the Discover Greenstone Interpretive Centre. What better way to learn about the gold rush that boomed in Greenstone or become a fire boss and learn how to fight forest fires.

Did you come to Greenstone to get away from the daily routine?  Why not pack the bag, strap the canoe to the car and head to the woods north of Nakina.  Here you will replace the noise and rush of daily life with the sounds of your canoe gliding through pristine waters and being surrounded by untouched wilderness.

These sights are only a few of what there is to experience. Come visit the Greenstone Region and explore for yourself.  You won't be disappointed.
